Hello Friends!
It’s been a whirlwind couple of days, but we believe the best course of action is to close our doors on St. Patrick’s Day. It’s more important than ever to take the recommendations of our leaders to limit the size of our gatherings.
After recommendations from the Mayor of Des Moines to limit public gatherings to 50 people or less, we've taken the extraordinary step to temporarily close our doors for the 2020 St. Patrick’s Day party. The decision was made to help to deter the thousands of people gathering in this area on the holiday.
We're very encouraged that our neighbors Beer Can Alley, The Exchange, Hush, and 300 Craft & Rooftop will also be closed. These businesses are also very large venues and always have large attendance for St. Patrick’s Day. We're grateful that they are joining us to follow Mayor Cownie’s guidelines.
Annie’s is working closely with city officials to plan a St. Patrick’s Day event in the near future in conjunction with these venues.
